  Course description
To comprehend the systematic approach to the development of new products that consists of the fields of marketing, technology, industrial design, planning and organizing, and joins these fields into a qualitative and innovative process. Students acquire practical knowledge with team work, where they design, develop and present a new prototype product by describing its most important advantages.

Contents:
Development processes and organizational structures. Identifying opportunities. Planning of products. Identification of customer needs. Definition of product properties. Generation, choice and testing of ideas. Architecture of products. Industrial design. Manufacturing design. Prototyping. Robust design. Economics in product development.
